In the early 2000s, a young Khmer from the countryside of Battambang went to visit his brother in Bordeaux, France. Back home, she has slipped vines into its two small suitcases.
Ten years later, the two acres of red and rosé wine she cultivates with his family are the first in Cambodia and enjoy a good reputation. The Banan wines are to be tasted on the way back from Phnom Banan.
